En Garde Fencers Tournament Results!

Congratulations to Michael French, who took second place at the Senior D and Lower Mixed Saber event at the Sacramento Fencing Club on November 22nd. Michael is now an E09 in Saber, having earned his rating at the last event he attended. Congratulations also go out to Patrick Stafford for taking second place at the Senior E and Lower Men's Foil held at En Garde Fencing on November 21st. He earned his E09 at that event. Great fencing guys! We're all proud of you.

Upcoming Tournaments

Offical USFA tournaments in the Bay Area are coordinated by the organization known as the "Bay Cup." En Garde Fencing encourages its fencers to progress to tournament level fencing. En Garde Fencing hosts official Bay Cup tournaments during the season, and we encourage all qualified fencers to participate. If you want to know if you are qualified to fence in these events, feel free to ask Jim. More info on the events we are hosting, and those being held in the area can be found below.

We will also be holding periodic in-club tournaments just for our own members, so that beginners can practice their skills in a friendly environment, and families of club members can meet and get to know each other. Building a community is an important part of creating the En Garde Fencing team.
